Just like the Kasadya sa CIT-University, we were once again asked to program the 10 in 1 Rangers for the very first CESAFI Robotics Exhibition. Using the desktop application M-Block, we came up with a “routine” for the robots to dance to.
We provided technical assistance for the Rootcon in CIT-University which was attended by students from different schools in Cebu City. The event lasted an entire day and was divided into two parts. The first part happened in the morning and there were talks given by hackers about the basics of hacking. In the afternoon, the second part commenced which was Capture the Flag and it was a game that involved some hacking skills.
For our OJT program, we were actually assigned to create a website for ETEEAP. This serves a double purpose as it also happens to be our thesis. That said, I was able to finish the homepage for the website. Using the Wordpress framework, I had to create the entire theme from scratch.
There were a few modifications in the design that we didn’t follow from our prototype like having an image carousel due to the lack of available pictures that were high-res enough to be used in the homepage.
The forms for the ETEEAP prototype were finally done alongside with the log in and different user interfaces.
My supervisor, Dr. Larmie S. Feliscuzo, gave me an assignment to create the logo for A.C.C.E.S.S. or Academic Center for Continuing Education and Students’ Success. She told me that said icon should entail Robotics, exams, and Data Analytics as these include the scope of the program.
The logo I came up with is as shown above with a few tweaks from the suggestions of the faculty from CCS.
Also, using the logo of A.C.C.E.S.S, we made a default PowerPoint template that would be used to create slides for the lessons to be held in the program.
